Grinton Lodge YHA
A detailed history of Grinton Lodge was written by Lucie Hinson who was the warden of the hostel from its purchase from Mrs. Charlesworth in 1948 and for the next 25 years. It was published in the July 1998 issue of the Reeth Gazette on pages 23 to 24. An addition was added by Val & Dave Lowson who became wardens in 1979.
